Any decorators out there?

In a fairly high-end home that overlooks the lake, is it okay to use old-style Living Room furniture? (Couch, loveseat, etc., about 20 years old, but PRISTINE condition–look brand new.) We love the style and look, but don’t want to cheapen the beautiful living area. We have lovely Kinkade prints, beautifully framed, on the walls, and think this type of furniture brings out the colors, etc., in the pictures.
Would it be a real faux pau to use this cute little couch/loveseat set, complete with skirts, like they used to have, etc.? Print is large, pale pink roses with Sage Green/Hunter Green leaves. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my question!
That could look really good if you keep the rest of your home away from modern things. Also, adding Wood Furniture will keep your style looking nice. Wooden shadow boxes with beachy-type items will bring the beach in your house without looking out of place.
If you love those pieces, use them, but tie in the same subtle colors through-out your home. Hope this helped!
